Serpico Albrecht

Serpico Albrecht

Knight of Midland

A quiet warrior of humble birth, Serpico Albrecht earned his place among the King’s chosen through resolve rather than glory. Few records speak of his early life, save that he hailed from the cold stones of Harrenfold and learned the sword not for honor, but out of necessity.

In the Siege of Thornmarsh, when the western gate fell and all hope with it, Serpico stood alone long enough for the innocent to flee. From that day he bore the mantle of knight, though he carried it without pride.

Lord Malrune

Lord Malrune

The Thorned Sovereign

Records of Lord Malrune are scarce. Fragmented accounts from northern lands speak of a warrior once hailed for valor. Yet in time he vanished from his homeland, forsaking crown and kin alike. Legends claim he descended into forgotten catacombs and returned clad in an armor bound by thorned sigils.

Since then, sightings have been rare and ill-omened: a figure of metal and shadow wandering ruin and frost. Some believe he seeks dominion. Others whisper he hunts a purpose only he comprehends.

Father Malachai

Father Malachai

Chaplain of the Crown

Little is known of the man called Father Malachai. Some say he once served as a simple village priest; others claim he walked distant battlefields long before he ever donned the robes of the Crown. Though a holy figure, he alone wore armor upon the expedition, an unusual choice he offered no explanation for.

Quiet, watchful, and marked by a solemn kindness, Malachai carried with him a pendant of unknown make. Before the fleet set sail, he entrusted it to Serpico without reason, speaking only that the knight “may need it more.”
